
121 Football Coaching
The Foundation Phase way of 121 football coaching is designed to meet the needs of the child and what the overall outcome is wanted by the football player and parent.
We at the foundation phase believe that 121 football coaching should be aimed be aimed at 3 aspect, Technical, physical and phycological. We have broken them down below in order to show how we aim to achieve all 3 in a single session.
Technical Football Coaching
The technical aspects come in various ways and we work on how we deliver skill sets in 1v1 situation, striking the ball to ensure power whilst using the correct part of the foot and ensuring passing and receiving is effective in all areas. Because we are solely focused on 1 child it is easier to deliver a much higher standard of technical work than usual and we guarantee a visible difference in performance after 10 sessions. This is the most effective part of the 121 football coaching session.
Physical football coaching
Like in our Group football sessions, we look at lateral movements ( moving side to side), Footwork speed, Stamina and strength in our 121 football sessions. We achieve this by using ladders, hurdles, short sprints, and different body weight exercises. Everything is done in order to look at the detail of how the child moves and adapts to changing direction in order to put him on the best possible physical standing that they can achieve.
Physiological Football Coaching
We work on mental strength with the children through the 121 football coaching session. Your 121 football coach will set out different scenarios in order for your child to come through. They will challenge the child to overcome puzzles and conditions based on the enviroemnt that has been set by the 121 coach.
